Once you’ve done some research and collected visual references for your tattoo idea, contact the shop via email. Our email address can be found on the Contact Page as well.
Please be sure to send visual references along with other details about your tattoo such as placement and size. From there, we’ll book you in for the next available opening either for a consultation or a tattoo appointment.
Please note: visual references do not have to depict the exact subject matter related to your tattoo. They are often used as visual components that will aid in the communication of your concept.
CONSULTATION AND BOOKING
Consultations are a free, quick conversation with the artist where you can go over the details of the project in mind. This is the best way to ensure that you get the tattoo that you have envisioned. Pricing and availability can also be determined after the consultation.
Though the artists will have any visual references you have sent in ready prior to your consultation, you are more than welcome to bring additional references. The artist will use this opportunity to discuss the details of your piece and eliminate any potential misunderstandings that may occur during the tattooing process. It is also a chance to problem solve during pre-production.
Once you are ready to book your tattoo we will book you in for a date that fits both yours and the artist’s schedule.
A deposit will be required upon finalising the appointment date. The deposit can be sent via e-transfer, however, we also accept other forms of payment.
DAY OF APPOINTMENT
On the day of your appointment, we ask that all clients to arrive on time, well-rested and well-fed. It’s important to eat a large meal at least half an hour before your tattoo session. This is essential for pain management.
Once you arrive, you will be asked to read and sign a consent form if you have not already done so.
Once the design is finalised, the artist will troubleshoot the final placement and size with a temporary stencil based on your preference and the artist’s professional recommendation.
When you are 100% happy, we will settle you in the chair and proceed with the tattoo.
Once your tattoo is complete and securely bandaged, we will provide aftercare instructions as well as an aftercare card to take home.
Please note: we cannot be held responsible for any clothing worn during the tattoo process. If necessary, bring a change of clothes. Although we do our utmost to control ink and pathogen spread, you must consider the possibility of your clothes being potentially exposed to pigments during the process.
Tip: Wear black.
If you’d like to take a break, please let the artist know. We are more than happy to take a few minutes before continuing. Lunch and snack breaks are always encouraged. Bottled water will be available for you. Don’t hesitate to ask if you need anything during the appointment.
